Hip-hop dancer Edgar Gilbert-Reyes says making it into the Top 22 of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Season 3 is his all-time biggest accomplishment. “There have been many times when I have wanted to give up but I realized this is a constant hustle and you have to constantly push for success. Making it onto the show was a huge personal accomplishment and probably the best day of my life!” Born in Calgary, has travelled all over working with such choreographers as Luther Brown and performing for artists such as Keisha Chante, Eva Avila and Corey Lee. Training in Toronto and L.A., Edgar has been able to incorporate the video styles of hip hop with his Jazz training as he is also a performer in the company of Decidedly Jazz in the 08/09 season. One of the founders of Tru Source, now illFX, has allowed him to show off his choreography to thousandsand win the competition of Calgary's Best Dance Crew.
