Jason Seelmann - Acting was an interest at the start but after landing the role of Gilbert Blythe in Anne of Green Gables, there was no turning back. Future performances included Kiss or Make-Up, Les Misérables and West Side Story leading him to move into film and begin his own production company 2BlocksNorth. After a 13 year hiatus from the stage, Jason returned in 2009 as a choreographed dancing panda in Panda 848 at the Ignite Festival, as Alan in Crystal Ball at the Calgary Fringe Festival and as Brom Bones in Storybook Theatre’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. He even joined Morpheus Theatre as a Stage Manager and helped them win Outstanding Production of a Play at the 2010 CAT Awards for The Importance of Being Ernest. Jason continues to write while working toward producing independent film and theatre.
